I had written a post expressing some of my frustrations. I am after all living in a place with only the possessions I could bring with me on an airplane and currently have no internet due to a frustrating stream of events. I wrote the post as more of a vent. The thing is though, I’m really not that frustrated. It’s not ideal but things are also not that bad. I’m settling into a routine, finding time to write (and making use of my phone as a hot spot afterwards to post), am able to at least cook again and am ultimately living in a place that gave me a spectacular sunset as I walked my dogs (I’ll post one of those when the aforementioned internet situation is resolved).
So while there are certainly frustrations, things are fantastic in other ways. Which is at least an important thing to me given so much else that is going on in the world. I’ve got time with my lovely wife, two great dogs, and the ability to explore this world building/story telling hobby of mind and that’s worth taking the time to enjoy. I’ve helped some people with their own moves and their own lives. The presence of bad doesn’t mean good doesn’t matter, and there’s plenty good.
Though I would appreciate a real bed to sleep on.
On the story telling, I am certainly writing some easier drop stories right now. Things which are quick to write as I get settled and hopefully sort things out. We got the Bard dealing with a nightmare last week, I think it’s worth seeing the effect the same can have on the Fey.
Hope you all find time to enjoy some things this week amongst the chaos and the hustle and if you can…
Go forth and do good things,
Sean
