There's Power in Stories

Weekly Check-in – March Begins

A hail and well met to March.  As someone born in February, last month always seems to past too fast, even for its shorted number of days.  However, March often means better weather in the places I have lived and the continued lengthening of the days.  Winter is of course still in force and only the more temperate climates, like the Four Provinces in Illithiust, are beginning to look ahead to planting crops and coming out of the starvation of winter.

This past weekend was the first in a three part piece on the History of the Landian Clans, giving a historical perspective on the now all but extinct founding race of Illithiust.  The piece is written like a textbook entry by our dear Bard and within the context of the setting her “Conversations with the Last Landian” is considered one of her most important works, at least after her passing from the history of the world.  The history of the Landians is the story of how much in Illithiust came to be in the dire situation it is in and I hope you enjoy the coming two posts.

Go Forth and Do Good Things,

Sean
